Dit werk, dat in premi\u00e8re ging op 22 november, de dag waarop de christenen Sint Cecilia vieren, prijst op vreugdevolle wijze de kracht van de muziek door middel van een veelheid aan aria&#8217;s. Apotheosis Orchestra, onder leiding van dirigent en klavecinist Korneel Bernolet, is gespecialiseerd in uitvoeringen op historische instrumenten. De groep streeft naar &#8220;apotheose&#8221; en heeft de neiging de muziek zelf te verheffen door de manier te benaderen waarop een muzikant uit een bepaalde periode een partituur zou hebben gelezen en gespeeld. Ze spelen muziek van de barok tot de late romantiek, met een voorkeur voor oratorium en bovenal opera. Eind 2019 verscheen hun eerste grote orkestopname bij Ram\u00e9e: een dyptiek rond Pygmalion, die meteen in de prijzen viel en in Frankrijk en Duitsland werd erkend als een nieuwe referentieopname.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>Caroline Weynants<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Caroline Weynants is een Belgische sopraan, gespecialiseerd in barokmuziek. Aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Luik studeerde zij in de klas van Greta de Reyghere, waar zij een hoger diploma zang behaalde (2003), alsook een eerste prijs kamermuziek. Ze is bekend om haar vele samenwerkingen met internationale ensembles van hoge kwaliteit en om haar rijke discografie. Ze trad op in talrijke festivals en concertzalen in Belgi\u00eb, Europa en internationaal. Naast haar langdurige betrokkenheid bij het Centre d&#8217;Art Vocal &amp; de Musique Ancienne (CAV&amp;MA), werkt zij nu voornamelijk met de ensembles Correspondances (S. Dauc\u00e9) en Vox Luminis (L. Meunier). Ze geeft ongeveer 40 concerten per jaar.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5>Pierre Derhet<\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De Belgische tenor Pierre Derhet is laureaat van de Acad\u00e9mie de chanteurs du Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Royal de la Monnaie 2016. Hij won verschillende wedstrijden, zoals de Dexia-wedstrijd, de wedstrijd voor nieuwe talenten in de lyrische kunst en de wedstrijd Jacques D\u00f4me in Verviers. Hij begon te zingen aan het Institut de Musique et de P\u00e9dagogie de Namur bij Fran\u00e7oise Viatour, Elise G\u00e4bele en Benoit Giaux. Daarna perfectioneerde hij zijn techniek tijdens masterclasses bij Christophe Rousset, Leonardo Garcia Alarcon, Andrea Marcon, Marie-Nicole Lemieux, Roger Vignoles, Michael Spyres, Jos\u00e9 Van Dam&#8230; Onlangs nog was hij Jean-Petit Bleu in <em>#Folon<\/em> in de Op\u00e9ra Royal de Li\u00e8ge, Ferrando in <em>Cosi fan tutte <\/em>te Brussel en tenor solo in Mozarts <em>Requiem<\/em> bij Alden Biesen. Onder zijn projecten kunnen we verschillende belangrijke rollen noteren, met name Bob Boles in <em>Peter Grimes<\/em> van Britten in de Op\u00e9ra d&#8217;Avignon, De Prins in <em>Trois Contes<\/em> van G.
